about

My first album of all-new material in over three years.

The underlying theme is how, like a chameleon, some of us change our outward appearance to blend in with our surroundings, but it's all just camouflage used as a defense mechanism: inside we feel anxious and threatened, hoping not to be seen in our true colours lest the predators move in.

The two pieces are in a kind of languid, kosmische style - think Tangerine Dream's "Zeit" - where any element of harmony is tainted with dissonance.

"Best listen to “Chameleon” (that I rank between 3.5 and 4 stars) with quality headphones is highly recommended." -- Bert Strolenberg, Sonic Immersion

The chameleons on this album are fictitious; any resemblance to actual chameleons, living or dead, is purely coincidental.

That bloke who used to make nice music like "Four Patterns", then went all dark and psychedelic and droney and all that 'evvy stuff.
